As all our candles are individually man-handled & hand poured, you may experience visible air bubbles on our candles. Our woodwicks are one of a kind & each wick is personally cut to make lighting it a tad bit easier! That is what gives our candles that extra *oomph* & that is how we bring our candles to the next level.

*Burn time depends on usage on proper candle care.
Your First Time:
Allow your candle to melt all the way to the edges of the jar (burn for at least 1 - 2 hours) upon lighting your candle for the first time. Ensure that the spot your candle is in isn't drafty (no direct wind).

How Long Can You Go:
Let your candles stay lit for 2 - 3 hours each session. Burning candles within their recommended burn time keeps you safe & you'll also get a longer life out of your candle if you let the wax cool down after each session. Once it has cooled & hardened, feel free to relight it again & enjoy!

Keeping Me For Future Use:
When you no longer wish to use your candle, use the lid of the jar to cover your candle, extinguishing the flame. alternatively, you can use a candle snuffer to put out your candle. do not blow on the candle to extinguish the flame. ensure that your candles are covered at all times when not in use. store your candles in a cool & dark place, away from direct sunlight so that they are kept in tip-top condition.

Sometimes, It's Good To Have A Trim:
Wick maintenance & trimming is very important with wood wicks as they are designed to give a hot, soot-free burn giving the candle a strong scent throw. Left untrimmed, wood wicks can get a little wild. Upon re-lighting your candle, trim the wick only when the flame gets too big and unstable. this lets the candle burn safely & efficiently.

We use recyclable and compostable packaging materials for all our products — even our stickers are biodegradable!

When you opt for the eco-friendly packaging for our candles, they will simply be wrapped in our honeycomb paper (basically paper bubblewrap) & stuffed with water-soluble foam (yes, they dissolve in water!). This means that your candles will come without a box or its care card.

Selecting the eco-friendly packaging option is recommended for repeat purchases — especially if you're not intending to gift it!
